So we realized last night we can no longer call her a baby. She's a toddler because she doesn't crawl anymore. She had her one year appointment last week and she weighs 23lbs3oz and is 29 inches long. Besides her head measurements being out of the park huge (nothing to worry about...Heuberger family trait) she is right where she should be. She swipes at Ila now, accompanied with a high-pitched "NO". She may have learned it from her sweet cousin Ashlynn who is 5 months older than her. She has all kinds of funny tricks that we have taught her. The best is hands over her head saying "b,b,b"(big, big, big) when asked how much Grandpa loves her. She sleeps pretty good at night until 4am, then she's in with us, which we don't mind. She loves food, obviously. The other day we were at the park with some family friends and their 5 year old boy watched her walk and said, "those don't look like thighs, they look like elephant legs!" I told him he could say stuff like that now but in a couple of years he better watch it;-) Thanks to everyone who has helped take care of our girls this year...they are lucky to have ALL of you!
